Some of the previous rides to have past through our hands. Thankfully, we've left out most of the crap ones!
1966 Notch - Cool cruiser. Another car to feed my Type 3 fetish!
1969 Bug - Given the early look. Tidied up and moved on.
1969 Panelvan - One owner from new super solid bus. Absolute top class vehicle.
1961 Ghia - My baby! Out of all the cars I've had this is the one I miss most. The ultimate headturner.
1967 Bug - Cal Look at it's finest! Nose down stance, proper tyre combo and a tasty custom Porsche interior. Hard as nails.
1972 Bay - The Poo Bus as it was known. Basically transformed from a heap of scrap to a fully useable camper in 6 days. The full build up can be found here; forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?t=69
1964 Squareback - The wife's dream car. Cool as hell to look at, with plenty of patina, but an absolute bitch to drive! 6" narrowed beam, slammed and rolling on BRMs.
1972 Fastback - Probably the best car I've ever driven. Super smooth fuel injected motor, and so practical! Also, I've got a thing about red and white cars.
1971 Bug & 1972 Sprite Cadet - Our first foray into the world of vintage caravans. Towed behind our old 1200.
1968 Fastback - Yeah, we like our Type 3s! Another unmolested import, this time from Sweden. 58000KM from new! Red and white combo again - you know it makes sense.
WATERCOOLED:
1999 V5 Mk4 - Like the Passat, another victim of stupid petrol prices. Great fun to drive, as long as you didn't look at the fuel gauge!
1977 Golf - Super slammed on stupid offset Compomotives, with the best stock interior ever!
2002 Passat - The daily for 6 years, until rising fuel prices meant it was to expensive to run! Bah! FK coilovers and 18" RS8s made it stand out from the other rep wagens!
1982 Mk1 Golf Cab - Another of Mrs Jabbo's former daily drivers. Great for the summer, not so great for the winter thanks to a leaky roof. At least it looked good thanks to the ATS cups and the bronze body!
1979 Mk1 Golf - Last of the Series 1 Golfs, bought for the princely sum of £200. Given a basic tart up, thanks to some hard graft, a set of springs and some polished P's! Full details here; www.vwgolfmk1.org.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=7895&highlight=
1989 Mk2 Polo Coupe S - The first watercooled car I owned, and what a trooper it was! An ideal little runaround with plenty of go.
